Beautiful bar cabinet from the Torcello series, designed by Afra and Tobia Scarpa for Stildomus in the 1960s, a perfect example of rational and sophisticated Italian design.
This furniture collection is distinguished by the masterful use of solid wood combined with a robust yet elegant construction, fully aligned with the design philosophy of the Scarpa duo.
The Torcello series is based on essential forms and high-quality materials. The wood, in this case rosewood, is worked with exceptional care to highlight its natural grain and the solidity of the structure.
One of the iconic elements of this collection is the aluminum interlocking joint system, visible at the connection points between the horizontal planes, which clearly expresses the refined artisanal approach of the Scarpas.
The clean, geometric lines of the Torcello series are designed to integrate harmoniously into sophisticated interiors, without appearing heavy or overly decorative.
This elegant bar cabinet features two hinged doors concealing two sliding compartments which, once pulled out, reveal multiple internal sections designed to neatly store glasses and bottles.
Overall condition is excellent, with minor signs of time consistent with its more than 60 years of age.
