Stunning pair of bedside tables belonging to the prestigious Marango series, designed by Alberto Smania for the renowned company Smania Studio Interni in the late 1960s.
These bedside tables embody and encapsulate the highest level of Italian craftsmanship of the period, featuring exceptional details such as hand-woven leather corner joints, combined with brass profiles and Italian cane.
They are fitted with two glass shelves with brass-edged borders.
The overall condition is excellent, despite being nearly 60 years old.
Please note a minimal and almost imperceptible chip on one corner of the glass on both bedside tables.
We also note that one lower corner of one of the two bedside tables shows some signs of age.
